Barakah in Jema'ah

Salam alaikum Jumuah Mubarak.

We'd like to present a new collective initiative by Being Center which is called 'Barakah in Jem'ah.'

"Offering the salat in congregation offers 27 times greater reward than offering it alone individually" (Bukhari, Muslim)

What this means is doing salat or even Ibadah in jema'ah magnifies its power i.e. Barakah and blessings, and amplifies it's maqbul (acceptance of intentions) potential. As such, the latter encouragement.

At Being Center, we offer 4 such 'Barakah in jemaah' opportunities for personal transformation. We would be honored with your presence in this jemaah of remembering Allah and his Beloved s.a.w. through sincerity and full humility.

1. Caravan of Selawat Nariyyah

We will gather as a congregation (no matter the number) and recite 4,444 Selawat Nariyyah using strung pearls of 11. We share this Ibadah in a community of Breath inshaAllah. This will resume back on 14 February at Being Center from 430pm - 800pm.

2. Salat Taubah in jemaah

Abu Bakr (r) reports: “I heard the Prophet sallallahu alehi wasallam saying: ‘Allah forgives the man who commits a sin (then feels ashamed), purifies himself, offers a prayer and seeks His forgiveness.’ Then he recited the ‘ayyah: ‘And those who, when they do an evil thing or wrong themselves, remember Allah and implore forgiveness for their sins – and who can forgive sins except Allah? – and will not knowingly repeat (the wrong) they did. The reward of such will be forgiveness from their Lord, and gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever- a bountiful reward for workers.”‘ [al-‘lmran: 135-136]. This is related by Abu Dawud, an-Nasa’i, Ibn Majah, al-Baihaqi, and at-Tirmidhi who calls it hasan.

In the last rak'ah of this salat, we as a congregation would recite the prayer of Nabi Yunus a.s. in sincere repentance hoping for the Mercy of Allah and that our slates would start clean afresh. This will resume back on 15 Feb 2015 from 2-3pm.
